Solar Service and Maintenance

Solar panels are designed to be low maintenance.  Unlike a boiler, your solar panels should work efficiently without a yearly service.  You shouldn’t need to pay extra costs for maintenance packages to keep them running well.  You don’t usually need to clean your solar panels (we get enough rain in the UK to do that for you!)

Occasionally it might be necessary to clean your solar panels (such as during an excessively dry period with little or no rain, or if you live in a particularly dusty or sandy area, or if there’s a build up of dirt such as bird dropping on your panels).  In those situations, it is advisable to use a local specialist cleaning company who will come along with the right equipment to do the job effectively.
